The non-governmental organization CVM (Community Volunteers for the World) has been active since 1978 with self development and cooperation projects in Ethiopia and Tanzania and in Italy with activities in schools and on the territory.In Ethiopia CVM works to ensure the increased availability of water for drinking  and agricultural purposes and for the increase of sanitation services. In both Ethiopia and Tanzania it is active with several projects for human rights and social inclusion of orphans, women and other marginalized groups.
